Junior programs
UQ Sport coordinates a range of exciting, fun and social junior sports activities that cater to all fitness and skill levels.
From kids coaching to complete junior development programs, primary and secondary school aged children can participate in sports such as soccer, netball, athletics, rowing, swimming, and tennis.
Some of our current junior sports programs:
- The School Holiday Program hosts a variety of school holiday clinics to keep kids busy during the holiday periods.
- The Term Program runs after school care activities, including the Athletics Program which sees more than 400 youngsters participate in junior sports each week.
- The Friday Afternoon Interschool Sport Program gives schools the opportunity to utilise UQ Sports’ first-class facilities, equipment and staff to encourage kids to be active.
Programs are available all year round – and most are held at the UQ St Lucia campus, with some classes offered at Milton State School.
